Children rarely or never dare to live a happier or more satisfying life than their parents. Without realizing that they remain faithful to tacit family traditions that work invisibly. Family Constellations are a way to discover the underlying family ties and the forces that have been unconsciously carried over several generations. "Bertold Ulsamer
Family Constellations is a method that allows what is hidden to come to light. Its a therapeutic process that takes place in a group and works on the deepest part of our consciousness. The theory on which this technique is based is that people have certain unconscious negative anchors, which transmit painful feelings and which sometimes we do not know how to detach ourselves. These anchors often lead us to reproduce certain behaviors or live certain negative situations repeatedly, without knowing very well how to solve it. The person seeking answers or solutions to their problem/issue chooses representatives for his/her family members from those present in the group. Then he/she "sets them up" in relationship to one another in the center of the working space or circle. From this first glimpse into the family system, we can often see a disconnection between the family members that need to be reconnected.
At any point in a family system a disconnection or separation creates an energy blockage that does not allow the energy to flow freely from one generation to the next. The family constellation not only allows the disconnection to become visible, but also it is a vehicle through which the reconnection of the family members can take place. Specific words or phases and certain movements allow the energy to flow. When it does so, everyone in the room can experience the release of the tension that became apparent in the family constellation.
The Family Constellations are made with several people who do not have any link with each other and who attend the same workshop. It is important to clarify that although Family Constellations are carried out in a group, it is not considered a Group Therapy as such, since the work dynamics are very different.
Bert Hellinger, a German psychotherapist and former priest, developed this method in the mid-1990s and is the founder of this technique. Throughout his career he has treated and studied families for more than 50 years, and noted that many of us unconsciously use destructive family patterns that lead us to anxiety, depression, anger, guilt, loneliness, alcoholism and even illness as a form of "belonging" to our families. His theory is that, united by deep love, a child often sacrifices his own interests in a vain attempt to alleviate the suffering of a parent or other family member.
Family Constellations allow us to break these patterns so that we can live in a more conscious, healthy, happy and above all full. The results can be a true change of life.
Thus, the purpose of Family Constellations is to discover the hidden dynamics of a family and its relationships in an experimental manner. This is a gentle and sensitive method that reveals the energies of relationships through representatives, so that it can lead to a solution. This implies that each member of the system is allowed to find their place in the group through a healthy and respectful connection with each other.

Family Constellations: A phenomenological approach
Existential Therapy is based on a phenomenological approach as a way of working that requires the therapist to put aside hypotheses, theories or learned programs, in order to allow the client to explore their reality and allow the situation to show itself. same This can provide useful information from which a person can see the meaning of their situation.
Julia C. Pineda, M.A.Ed., is an educational psychologist PEDAGOGY, family counselor, family constellations facilitator and speaker with a passion for helping people, especially families whose members individually are experiencing little or no fulfillment in life.
Through the methodology of Family Constellations Julia shows us how we are all at the effect of satisfactory and unsatisfactory experiences within our family systems through the generations.
Julia’s 26-year experience as an educational psychologist, a volunteer and lecturer for Teléfono de la Esperanza, an international NGO that provides help to people in crisis, and through her interaction with high school and university students, led her to search for tools that could help people to stop repeating family conflicts that would drive them to give up on their educational, personal, health and professional aspirations.
This led Julia to obtain a certification as an International Instructor by Louise Hay, complete a Master of Education, a Master in Family Counseling, and a certification as a Facilitator of Family Constellations. As a result, Julia is able to assist in the personal development of those who come to her for help in resolving their problems, and helps to integrate and order the imbalance that exist within their family systems. Julia has helped people resolve problems, such as illnesses, spousal conflicts, heath, poor relationships between parents and children, among others.
Julia has been invited by media in Honduras to speak as an expert in mental and family health. She is making a difference through the methodology of Family Constellations, by enabling those who use it to resolve their problems and live fulfilled lives. Workshop participants are surprised at the simplicity, power and depth of the methodology.
