The Yoga Of Awareness. 

Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan

It only takes an hour and a half to experience balance and tranquility. From your very first class, which teaches Kundalini Yoga, an ancient science of self-healing that uses exercise, breath-work, mantra and meditation to create vitality in the body, balance in the mind and spiritual awareness. You will learn powerful techniques to be calm, uplifted and inspired. As you continue to practice Kundalini Yoga, you will become aware of the depth of your identity and your ability to succeed in every facet of your life.

The sequences in Kundalini Yoga are designed to be practiced by people of all ages and abilities. They bring together postures,  movement, breath and relaxation in powerful ways to achieve direct and immediate benefits, like getting rid of back pain, stimulating weight loss, or relieving stress. Nam Shakti is a Certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher who is trained in offering modifications or alternative postures to accommodate physical limitations. 

Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of Awareness. Every class works to build the meditative mind so that you can relate to your highest self, your true self, the divine within. She will teach active meditations – techniques that enhance pure contemplation with elements like breath, visualization, mudra (hand yoga) and mantra (chanting). These techniques work on the pathways of the brain and the glandular system to balance your emotions and allow you to experience true bliss.

All ages and levels are welcome. You don't have to be an acrobat to reap the benefits of Kundalini Yoga. "Kundalini" means your highest potential. Come join us and begin reaching your potential and accomplishing your highest goals.

Kundalini Yoga is a physical and meditative discipline. Kundalini refers to the energy that lays dormant at the base of the spine. Through the practice of yoga, this energy is raised and travels up the spine, through the chakras, creating an overall sense of well being and a heightened sense of awareness. The word Kundalini literally translates as a “coiled female serpent.”
